Reliable has been awarded a new contract until October 2022 to continue to provide maintenance services and components to Glencores Bulga Coal Operation in NSW , Australia .

Reliable has had this contract since 2013 and we have demonstrated to Glencore & Bulga that we are able to provide a high quality , safe and value adding service. Our Scope at Bulga includes the Total Conveyor Management of their conveyor systems.

Reliable provides a team to execute this scope that includes a Site Manager, a Project & Reliability Coordinator , Project Manager , Mechanical & Conveyor Engineers , Condition Monitoring Technicians , Supervisors, Belt Splicers and Tradesmen.

Reliable uses its "Conveyor Plus+" Reliability package to ensure the maximum uptime is achieved on the Conveyor System and performance is optimised for each conveyor component. Reliable also manages the onsite stock and critical spares to ensure risks are mitigated.

We execute all mechanical and rubber maintenance on the conveyor system including belt change-outs , repairs , belt cleaner and skirt maintenance.

Reliable Conveyor Belt are excited to extend our partnership with North Parkes Mine (NPM) to maintain their conveyors for another 2 years.

Reliable has been a maintenance provider to NPM since its inception in 1993. We service this contract with local employees based at our Parkes Branch who offer NPM a world class service .

We execute all mechanical and rubber maintenance on the conveyor system including belt change-outs , repairs , belt cleaner and skirt maintenance.

Separate to this we have also been awarded a 2 year contract for the supply of the Conveyor Components to North Parkes Mine.

Combining these 2 contracts we are able to offer NPM a total conveyor maintenance package to ensure they optimise their conveyor systems.

Over Easter Reliable completed 2 x Belt Replacement Projects.This was a great achievement for these to be done in parallel over a holiday period and is a huge credit to the Reliable Team both on site and in support

These projects included providing the Project Management , Engineering , Drafting, Labour and Equipment.

At an underground operation in the Hunter Valley,NSW the project involved the flaking out and splicing of approx. 3.5Kms of 1400mm PN1600/4 belt underground and turning the belt twice as the old belt was removed and the new installed . This was the second phase of this project as 3.5kms was also replaced in January using the same methodology. The conveyor double drive was also relagged during the Easter replacement. Almost 30 splices were completed and 7000mtrs replaced underground on this project

At the same time this job was happening another team was replacing 5 x 841mtr rolls of 1600mm ST1800 belt, weighing 40T each, on the surface of a major underground mine in Mudgee,NSW Both jobs were completed safely without incident , under time, on budget .

Well done to all our Conveyor Technicians who participated in our VETAB/TAFE accredited Belt Splicer/Polymer Processing training program for the Month of April. The participants came from all of our branches across the group to our Mudgee Branch to attend this block release training.
